At IBM, I was part of the documentation team within the Collaboration Solutions division, where we developed content for software designed to enhance collaboration and teamwork in business environments.
The software suite included email clients, instant messaging platforms, document management systems, social collaboration tools, and virtual meeting applications. Notable products I worked on included IBM Notes (formerly Lotus Notes), IBM Domino, IBM iNotes, IBM Sametime, IBM Verse, and Watson Workspace.
In this role, I developed documentation for cloud, mobile, and on-premises products, authoring DITA-based content that detailed product releases, feature enhancements, and user guides for both end-users and administrators. I partnered closely with translation teams to package documentation for localization and published content through a Jenkins pipeline to production servers.
My work also extended into UX design, where I participated in planning, review, and product testing to ensure content aligned with user experiences.
